Socks on the Subway, French Concession

I love these socks I saw on the subway (Line 10, the Fashion Line of course):

There’s a generational gap between the two guys, which is part of the reason for their different styles, but they have the socks that tie them together. I like the different ways they’ve each paired their socks to make them their own, but I think they look even better next to each other.

And is it just me or are the socks a bit feminine? I like the softness and lightness of the socks paired with the masculine, but different, shoes… I think Chinese clothing has traditionally been more unisex than Western clothing, which is part of the reason they can dress more androgynously.

Hey, it’s definitely better than the murse, right?
