Literally Losers, People’s Square

This literally hilarious submission from my friend Nani is of a t-shirt one of her students at Raffles wore to class one day:

It reads: “Look at all these losers you find them everywhere”. Although not very nice, I would have to say it’s pretty accurate here on the Mainland… Consider, for example, all the ruxurious clones in China.

Best Dressed Generation:
Gen X – 180 points
Gen Y – 245 points
Gen Z – 178 points + 30 points for having a fluent and accurate t-shirt = 208 points

Well, I hate to see anyone referred to as a loser.

    • Ya, it’s not very nice to call someone a loser. I don’t think he’s actually a loser, but I do think he’s already made some poor choices (for whatever reason) at a young age, and that is sad. But I don’t like to call people loser, so I’ll make some posts about some major winners in the next few days 🙂

But smoking at such a young age is such a pity, and it’s definitely not cool. Instead of loser, let’s just say he’s not a winner for this.

Do you have a guess on how old he is?

      • Susan Tiner says:

I’d say that guy is about 12-14 years old. It’s so easy to make poor choices when you’re young and around people modeling bad behavior.

      • That’s true, and there are too many models in China for making poor choices. Hopefully he can make better decisions in the future, but I’d imagine it’s hard for kids to quit smoking when they start out this young…
